Big Brothers Big Sisters: impact partnership

Social impact is scalable and impactful if people and organisations work together.

Recently Social Currency was featured in the Big Brothers Big Sisters newsletter as a charity partner.

Have a quick read to see how this charity operates and the frontline stories of community mentoring in action. Providing mentors to young people without a strong role model in their life is crucial to supporting an even playing field and successful futures.

We're creating strategic partnerships with charities like BBBS for cause related fundraising.

Any client who comes to SC through BBBS means 10% of what they pay for accounting, business advisory or social impact measurement/reporting goes straight to funding the amazing work this charity does for our young people.

We are proud to be alongside some pretty epic organisations supporting this charity and these kids.

Why is Social Currency set up this way? Because we get it. Lisa our founder is aware of the need first-hand and wants to see more at risk children supported.

Social Currency donated $1,000 to Big Brothers Big Sisters in November 2018 for mentoring for at risk young people and is working to make more donations to mentoring programs in 2019.

Social Currency works to empower and develop resilience in kiwi kids through various programmes, and we also donate 10% of sales from accounting and business advisory services to organisations like Big Brothers Big Sisters.
