Social Currency turns 1

On the 1st of September Social Currency reached our 12 month mark.

WOW is one word that sums up how we feel right now! Lisa had a dream and just 1 year later it is bigger than we could have ever imagined.

Here are some of the highlights in our first 12 months:

✨We've donated over $24,500 to supporting at-risk kiwi kids, and we're up to $27,824 in total.

✨We have 272 awesome clients supporting our work and growing.

✨We were named in the Xero Awards as one of the Top 4 Small Business Accounting firms in New Zealand.

✨We have contractors in 2 countries, and clients in 4 countries.

✨We have 4 partner Charities providing mentors and positive role models.

✨We're supporting an initiative providing better support to parents leaving prison.

✨One of our Impact Reports was chosen as Top 4 in the NZ Charity Reporting awards for Tier 4.

✨We completed an in-school pilot programme focusing on resilience and growth mindsets.

✨We made it into Stuff.co.nz, NEXT magazine, CA Acuity magazine + more.

✨We've done multiple podcasts & speaking events.

✨We're a certified supplier under Fwd: social procurement by Akina.

✨We're 100% paperless and pay the living wage.

✨We provide pro bono support and discounted rates to Charities, Impact Businesses and Social Enterprises.

✨Our breadth of impact spreads across over 44,500 people and counting.
