Social Currency was named as a Top 4 finalist in the 2019 Xero Awards Small Accounting Partner of the Year

On the 22nd of August, Social Currency took a flight to Wellington to be a part of the 2019 Xero Awards. We were stoked to be one of the top 4 finalists for the Xero Small Accounting Partner of the year category.

After starting Social Currency 11 months before being chosen as a finalist, we were honored to be considered for this award.

Our team (Lisa, Dakota, Renee, Simi and Hannah) spent the day looking around Te Papa Museum before heading to the awards.

We really appreciate the special mention of our tamariki-first model, and our commitment to giving 10% of revenue to supporting at-risk kiwi kids.

Thank you to our clients, charity partners, supporters and referrers for continuing to build a community of purpose-driven mahi.

We arrived at the breath taking Opera House to amazing food and incredible teams around us.

After the Awards, Xero had some hoop dancers put on a show with performers swinging from the roof!

Although we didn’t take away the award this year, we are proud to have been chosen as a finalist. As Dakota says - “We will be back again to win it!”.

Our team work very hard and as a Company, it wouldn’t have been made easy without the use of Xero. If your business isn’t using Xero, then you need to talk to us.

Doing business with Xero is beautiful, but doing business with purpose and a mission to support at-risk kiwi kids is where our heart is.

We provide 10% discounts on all Xero subscriptions, and 20% discounts to both clients and non-clients who mentor young people.
