Graeme Dingle Foundation: impact partnership

Social Currency has created a partnership with the Canterbury branch of the Graeme Dingle Foundation, to support their Kiwi Can programme.

Kiwi Can is an energy-packed primary school programme, aimed at children aged 5 to 12 years. It teaches values such as integrity and respect, helps build resilience and delivers fun-filled learning to schools all around the country.

The Kiwi Can programme is making waves and empowering children in 100 schools around Aotearoa.

Kiwi Can is a life skills and values programme delivered to the whole school by trained Kiwi Can leaders with every child attending a Kiwi Can lesson once a week, every week of the school year.

School Principals tell the Foundation that Kiwi Can has a noticeable effect on how well the children interact with each other – with significant decreases in truancy and bullying.

Everyday Kiwi kids are faced with obstacles that can be hard to overcome. All Tamariki deserve the chance to have a great future – sometimes all they need is a helping hand and guidance along the way. That’s what the Graeme Dingle Foundation does.

Their programmes help young people thrive, develop confidence in who they are to make the most of their precious lives and become positive contributors to our communities.

Graeme Dingle Foundation are proud to be the official charity of New Zealand Rugby.  Together we’re showing Kiwi Kids that what they have inside is greater than any obstacle.

“We do fun activities in class involving positive relationships and anti-bullying. And we do really fun things in class, too.”  – Kiwi Can student

“We’ve learnt about respect, which means taking care of things around you, the people around you and yourself.”  – Kiwi Can student

Any client who comes to Social Currency through the Graeme Dingle Foundation, by referencing GDF when contacting us, this means that 10% of what they pay for accounting, business advisory or impact reporting goes straight to funding the amazing work this charity does for our young people.

We are proud to be alongside some pretty epic organisations supporting this charity and our rangatahi.

By partnering with the Graeme Dingle Foundation we can ensure that kiwi kids can be successful when they are older, regardless of risk factors.
